Terrific day here – conference certainly started with a bang, complete with high-octane music, drummers and some pretty risque dancers.
You get a really sense of energy here, with contacts old and new being renewed and established. Since many of the people attending the conference work in the meetings industry, there’s a certain satisfaction in experiencing this community ‘meeting’!
Fun conversation with Richard from The Mice Cream, a company that spans the (eclectic?) markets of Latvia and Georgia in the Caucasus. From seeing the photos, I’m minded to pay a visit to Georgia some day – home to the most mountainous region in Europe.
Anyway, late here and will be speaking tomorrow afternoon. Spent some time in the room today – video to come – and all looking very positive.
