The Mousetrap

Last night, Jenny and I went to see the 29,504th performance of Agatha Christie’s “The Mousetrap”.

Jenny’s first viewing. It was my second time - I first saw the play about twenty years ago. Naturally, the only thing I could remember from my original outing was “Whodunnit?!”

Originally conceived as a radio play, “The Mousetrap” premiered at Nottingham’s Theatre Royal on 6th October 1952. It remains the world’s longest running play.

Mysie Monte played the role of Mrs Boyle, from opening night until November 1967. That’s something in the region of 4,000 performances!

Fantastic, inspirational and spot-on stuff we need to improve our communication. They are communication wizards!
